Our History
Founded in 1869, Jerusalem Grove Missionary Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of faith in Smithville, Georgia for over a century and a half. Through generations of faithful believers, we have maintained our commitment to spreading God’s word and serving our community.
Our church has weathered the storms of time, always emerging stronger through God’s grace and the unwavering dedication of our congregation. We are proud of our heritage and excited about the future God has planned for us.

Pastor Ricky Cladd
Senior Pastor
Pastor Ricky Cladd has been faithfully serving as our spiritual leader since 2014. His dedication to God’s word and his heart for the congregation has guided our church through continued growth and spiritual development.
Under his leadership, Jerusalem Grove has flourished as a place where faith is lived, love is shared, and hope is offered to all who enter our doors. Pastor Cladd’s vision for the church continues to inspire our community to reach new heights in service to God.
First Lady Veronda Cladd
Educator & Ministry Leader
First Lady Veronda Cladd brings a wealth of experience as an educator, entrepreneur, and dedicated leader of women’s ministry. Her passion for teaching and mentoring has touched countless lives within our congregation.
Through her leadership in women’s ministry and her entrepreneurial spirit, First Lady Cladd exemplifies the values of faith, service, and community that define Jerusalem Grove. Her commitment to empowering others continues to strengthen our church family.
